一般的なCRUD処理時の検証の流れ†

• モデルクラスにvalidatesメソッドの追加

  class Item < ActiveRecord::Base
    validates :title, presence: true
  end
  

• controllerクラスでの検証
• scaffoldのデフォルト実装でも検証は行われる。

      @item = Item.new(item_params)

• ビューでは以下のようにエラーメッセージを表示する(もう少し分かりやすく表示する必要あり)

エラーメッセージの表示†

検証後入力値が再表示される仕組み†

• scaffoldで作成したコントローラーは以下のようになっている。

• create、updateが登録後の処理となる。成功した場合はredirectして再表示、エラーの場合は入力値が設定された@itemを使ってnewやeditをrenderするので、入力値が再表示される。
• ただし、@itemはよいのだが、値選択用のリストボックスなどの準備をnewで行っている場合それらの準備も行わないといけない(newと同様の処理)。
• また、検証失敗後URLは以下のように変わる
  • 追加初期表示時のURL: 「http://localhost:3000/items/new」
  • 追加失敗時のURL: 「http://localhost:3000/items」(実際は追加初期表示時の見た目のまま)
  • 更新初期表示のURL:「http://localhost:3000/items/3/edit」
  • 更新失敗後のURL: 「http://localhost:3000/items/3」(実際は更新初期表示の見た目のまま)
