※最近のバージョンではインストーラーでplink.exeの場所が聞かれなくなった？その場合、システム環境変数のGIT_SSHでパスを指定すれば良い。
64bit Windowsの場合64bit版をインストール。以下インストールウィザードの設定に関して。
Select Components†[edit]
- Windows Explorer Extensionは、Git Bash Hereのみ(それ以上はTortoiseGitから使うので不要)。
- 「Use a True Type font」はデフォルトでオフになっている。オンにしたら文字化けするので注意。

- 以前はUse Git Bash onlyを選択していたが、RubyGems作るときにパスがとおっていほうがいいので、真ん中の選択肢(Recommend)を選ぶ。

- PuTTYを使っている場合「Use (Tortoise)Plink」を選ぶ。でplink.exeの場所を指定する。
